2025 was certainly a year that brought many challenges to organizations working in the fields of affordable housing and homeless services – but there were also many opportunities for the community to rise to the occasion. With the release of our 2025 Impact Report, the Virginia Housing Alliance is proud to celebrate some of the things we accomplished together last year:

• Helped to secure an additional $675,000 in funding to support the capacity of Virginia’s homelessness response system
• Placing and supporting 15 AmeriCorps VISTA members at housing and homeless services agencies
• Providing over 1,000 participants with valuable training opportunities on topics such as housing advocacy
• Welcoming an additional 15 talented, dedicated professionals to the Housing Leadership Institute
• Leading the way in federal housing advocacy for the Commonwealth of Virginia, with over 145 organizations relying on VHA for up-to-date information and resources via our Federal Impact Calls
