VHA would like to extend a warm welcome to the AmeriCorps VISTA cohort for the 2026-2027 service year! These sixteen members were sworn in on August 10th, but their bios show that they’ve long had a dedication to service. Some of them have participated in opportunities that have taken them around the globe! For the next twelve months, they will be helping further VHA’s mission of providing safe, affordable housing to every Virginian. Their main focus will be on capacity building for their host sites through activities such as data analysis, program expansion, and the creation of training materials. In return, they will gain invaluable professional experience and make meaningful connections.
