Join VHA and Housing Opportunities Made Equal of Virginia (HOME of VA) on Tuesday, August 4th for a community listening session on criminal records and access to housing.
This virtual conversation will bring together housing providers, homeless service organizations, property managers, advocates, reentry organizations, and other community partners to discuss the barriers people with criminal records face when seeking housing. We want to hear what’s happening in communities across Virginia, including challenges, promising practices, and opportunities to improve policies, partnerships, and access to housing.
This will be an open discussion – not a training or formal presentation. Your insights and experiences will help inform future efforts to reduce housing barriers and create more equitable access to housing across the Commonwealth.
