Carrie Hamilton
Resource Development Specialist
Carrie joined the Virginia Housing Alliance as the Resource Development Specialist in February 2025. She is a Richmond native and a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University, with a Bachelors in Political Science. She comes to VHA from the political sphere, where she worked with progressive campaigns and organizations, primarily focused on fundraising at both the state and local levels. Most recently, she saw housing and the many issues that intersect with it rise to the forefront of the conversation in Richmond’s local elections. A certified Virginia Master Naturalist, Carrie is passionate about the intersection of housing, transportation, equity, and the environment. Carrie lives in Richmond’s Stadium neighborhood with her husband and dog, Cleo.
