VHA’S VISTA cohort took part in their first in-person quarterly training of the year in Richmond. On the first day, in partnership with the VCU School of Business and Corporate Education, the VISTAs attended an all-day Human Centered Design Workshop, innovatively crafted to empower members with dynamic problem-solving and strategic planning skills tailored for enhancing the effectiveness of anti-poverty programs.
The VISTAs also took part in a direct service project with Cornerstone Community Farm, an economic and agricultural collaboration that supports neighborhood vitality through sustainable food production, job creation, and environmental stewardship.
