The National Low-Income Housing Coalition (NLIHC) and the Public and Affordable Housing Research Corporation (PHARC) recently released Picture of Preservation 2024, a report analyzing data from the National Housing Preservation (NHPD) to determine the preservation risks and challenges faced by the existing federally assisted affordable housing stock. These risks include deterioration in quality, expiring affordability and lapsing eligibility restrictions, and decreasing federal allocations. Read the full report here.
